Accomplished lt tank float,
and confirming the arm is bent just right. Ops ck good. In addition fabricated
the fuel pick up
bent, flared and cut the grooves.
UPDATE: Disregard the cut and groove fuel pickup. After realizing
Vans sells these screen pickups pre fabricated I removed the plate and sealant
a major pain in the butt by the way and installed the prefabricated screen/tube
pickup from Vans. This is an improvement from the cut and groove method.
Final riveted the leading edge and ribs look close and notice the rib rivets are all solid button heads (no cherry's). My friend Richie helped with those nasty rib rivets. Tip: grind your 10" rivet set, I'll post some pics later.
Primed the spar holes with a tiny paint brush and unibit the pitot hole.
