John Sanazario aka gadget guy came by with his home made longeron jig, great  idea John you should patent this sucker, anyhow  it's hard to see in the pic but there is 2 pieces of plywood sandwiched between some alum 1/4" thick. You can contact John for more info on the gadget at rivetbangers.com. The  spacer is equally as thick as 2 longeron L brackets. Lean on this contraption as required to get the bend using the template on the plans as well as the canopy deck. Tweak here and there and it comes out quite nicely.

Final drilled the longerons to the canopy deck with the 1/32" overhang for the skins.
