Drilled and reamed the engine truss mounting holes. The pic shows the contraption
secured with a stick and ratched strap attached to the rudder pedals.
The pic shows a drill guide with the bit, and below is he final ream. I will
post pics later of the results. I had to add very thim shims on the center
lower two attach holes. One was .004 and the other was .016. Not much but
I didn't want tension on the firewall or truss when the bolts were tightened.
Trimmed the forward fuselage skin to accommodate the landing gear legs. The
pic shows some rolled up paper stuck in the engine truss hole to simulate
the gear legs. And I just trimmed as required a little clearance around the
paper.
